Adidas has a clear mission – “to be the leading sports brand in the world”. To accomplish this mission, the brand comprises two divisions that reflect two distinct market segments: Sport Performance and Sport Style.

Originals is one direction of the Sport Style division.
adidas Originals is a collection of some of the most innovative performance products that,
over the last 80 years, have helped shape sport to what it is today.
Originals products are either: re-introduced; old favorites brought back in restricted numbers,
re-interpreted; based on the original authentic sports product, but with updated colors materials
and details, and re-designed; inspired by Original adidas products in style, experience and
craftsmanship and updated for today. Originals products are represented by the trefoil logo, introduced in 1972.
