Conveniently accessible by any type of transportation, it is located just 5 metro stations from city center Tverskaya metro station. Architectural concept “City within the city”.

An integral part of the architectural concept of Metropolis was to mimic neighborhoods of a city. - Metropolis is mad of several architectural elements such as beautiful mosaic tiles especially designed and produced for Metropolis, skylight (created to mimic an outdoor setting or open air street environment), were designed to depict either a street or neighborhood of a big city such as Moscow (i.e. mosaic tiles inspired by Moscow metro). Inspired by the concept of Tower Bridge and the Docklands in London where bridges connect various factories and industrial spaces, Metropolis, similarly in its design, connects a collection of retail areas or “streets/ neighborhoods” within the shopping mall and creates lively vibrant community areas , such as a mini-village. Metropolis tells a story about what is between the buildings and is a city within a city which each visitor can discover and define for themselves. Wave streets invite the visitor to go further in his walk in Metropolis, making him curios to know “what is after the turn”, and lead to the three plazas (piazzas) as the main meeting point. Metropolis architecture gives the opportunity for people to meet with “neighbors” at plaza.

Metropolis is conveniently accessible, located just outside the congested city center. And rapidly positioned itself as a new shopping address.

Urban feeling, Metropolis has a distinct human element and pays homage to it’s industrial roots and surroundings with architectural elements such as exposed red brick, open spaces and open air design.

The aim was not to make Metropolis a high-tech ultra modern collection of Buildings, but rather create a real urban shopping center and shopping experience.

Unique Shopping Experience, Idea of Metropolis was to highlight retail and not overwhelm visitors with architecture, buildings and arbitrary design elements. The shopping mall has a convenient design which allows visibility among 3 floors, easily orientation and have excellent access to all shops with convenient vertical transportation. Metropolis, thanks to its mix of brands and its contemporary design creates an environment which is relaxed and pleasant.

Metropolis, has the strongest kids offer with more than 20 brands dedicated to kids (clothes, toys, entertainment, restaurant…) all located in a same floor to facilitate navigation and orientation for our customers.

Food court is large and spacious, worked out to give different seating ambiances in the middle of 21 different cuisines from all around the world. Metropolis offers as today the largest food-court of the capital.
